Welcome to UCC Hockey. We are based in the Marydyke Sports Grounds for training midweek and at the weekend for all our games. We welcome beginners through to advanced.
About Men's Hockey
UCC Men’s Hockey Club was founded in 1972 and has catered for all levels and abilities over the years. Intervarsity winners in 2013, the club has had up to 3 teams in the Munster Leagues and Cups. This season we are in recruitment mode and looking for you to join.
Social/mixed hocley takes place on Wednesdays in the Mardyke from 6.30pm-7.30pm. All levels are welcome. If you are interested please contact us at hockey@uccclubs.ie
About Women's Hockey
UCC Hockey Club is a warm and welcoming club which caters for all abilities. We are the oldest club in Munster and each year we welcome many enthusiastic freshers to the club.
The club has currently 4 competitive women’s teams which compete in Divisions 1, 2, 3 and 5. The teams take part in a variety of competitions throughout the hockey season which include the Munster League and Cup in each team’s respective division, the Irish Junior and Senior Cup and the EYHL 2.
Each team trains twice a week on our state-of-the-art based pitch in the Mardyke. Recent seasons have marked significant progress across all divisions for our club with several teams competing for cup and league titles. In recent years we’ve had several scholarship players who have been heavily involved in the Irish Women’s Hockey pathway. We are incredibly proud of them here in UCC Hockey
This year Social Hockey will take place on Wednesday evenings 6.30pm-7.30pm. All welcome. Interested in joining then why not pop along to one of our training sessions.
