With the academic year drawing to a close in the coming days, it marks the beginning of the summer hockey season in UCC. The first session takes place this coming Wednesday (17/5) from 6:30pm-8pm on the Mardyke hockey pitch and will continue summer-long. It promises to be a fun and social

Men’s 2nds complete league and cup double

UCC Men’s Hockey Club 2nd XI clinched the Munster Division 2 title this weekend, to complete the second half of the league and cup double. After defeating an experienced Quins side 3-2 in the Munster Junior Cup, Coach Andy Colton’s charges completely the season with only a single loss to blot
The Perfect 10 for UCC MHC

Just 72 hours after being embarrassed against Bandon the UCC men's firsts took on Ashton in the cup. It was back to winning ways in stylish fashion with a 10-0 win. The scoring started inside the first 90 seconds when Shrew Power reversed home after a nice passing move from Glenn Healy and Captain

The weekend kicked off with a Friday night fixture in Garyduff as the Men's 3rds took on Church of Ireland D for the second time in 5 days. The last time to two met UCC came out on top 5-3 winners and there was a similar result this time as the students continued their good run of form to come out

A Wesley Brownlow hat-trick helped UCC 1sts to victory over Bandon today at the Mardyke. UCC started the stronger of the 2 sides and got their reward through 2 accurately placed Drag Flicks by Brownlow. Bandon got a goal back through Ali Smith before the break. The score was 2-1 at half time.
IHL Weekend Preview

It is going to be another busy week of hockey for both UCC MHC and LHC with the return of the Irish Hockey League (IHL). Both Men's and Ladies first teams will travel to Dublin this Saturday to take on Pembroke and Hermes respectively (Both games 2pm). The ladies go in search of another win after
